Vendors are wanted for the third annual Medora Covered Bridge Festival to be held June 26 and 27. The festival was started to make the public aware of the historical status of the county’s longest three-span covered bridge. John Mellencamp has made a video on that same bridge.

There will be rides to the covered bridge and to the historical Medora Brick Plant. There will also be a barrel/wagon ride for kids.

Some activities planned on June 26 are a lumberjack contest, line dancing and clogging in the afternoon. Medora Community Lions Club is planning a baking contest.

On June 27 there will be a community church service at 8 a.m. at the school cafetorium, a road rally in the morning and numerous other activities.
